The CarePlus nursing overall was specially developed for the demanding care of patients with dementia and provides valuable assistance for caregivers. Dementia patients often have a strong urge to undress themselves, which is not only inappropriate behavior but also carries health risks. If this behavior is ignored, it can have serious consequences. The patient may not realize that it is necessary to dress again or may no longer be able to do so independently. This can lead to dangerous body cooling, which in turn can cause health complications. Furthermore, dementia-affected patients who suffer from incontinence tend to pull out their incontinence material and smear it with stool. This not only poses a major hygienic problem but also places a huge burden on the caregiver. Restless patients also often exhibit behavior of tearing their clothes, which brings additional challenges to care.

The suprima nursing overall CarePlus is a reliable solution made from a tear-resistant, breathable material that largely prevents the patient from accessing their incontinence material. The double-reinforced seams ensure that even auto-aggressive patients cannot remove the overall by themselves. This minimizes the risk of the patient undressing themselves and removing the incontinence material, thereby avoiding hygienic problems and health risks. A particularly practical design feature is the diagonal zipper on the back. This prevents pressure points on the spine and ensures that the overall does not have to be pulled over the head, which is a relief for both the patient and the nursing staff.

The nursing overall is available in different closure variants. You can choose between a safety button on the back zipper and elastic cuffs on the arms and legs or adjustable eyelets for magnetic locks. The latter allow individual adjustment of the width on the arms and legs, ensuring an optimal fit. For children, the nursing overall is only available with a safety button and elastic cuffs. The material of the overall is only partially bite-resistant, so with appropriate caution, a certain resistance to aggressive behavior is also ensured.

WARNING! The use of the overall does not replace the necessary supervision by qualified nursing staff. The eyelets are exclusively intended for adjusting the width of the arm and leg openings and must not be used to restrain the patient.

Zipper
