The ECOFIT PLUS is a care bed with a solid wood paneling that impresses with its particularly homely character. For fall prevention, it is also available as a LOW variant.

We can arrange a local moving company near your residence to transport the care bed from the curb to your room, exactly according to your wishes.

This solution is significantly more cost-effective than the standard delivery service to the apartment, which usually costs an additional €200 with many care bed providers.

The care bed weighs about 80 kg but can also be transported by one person if the package is opened and the parts are carried individually. As shown in the video below, the components are easy to transport and assemble.

Features:

• The ECOFIT PLUS has a 4-part steel slat lying surface of 90 x 200 cm with mattress guides at the head and foot sections.
• The electric height adjustment of the bed varies between 385 mm and 810 mm and allows individual adjustment for optimal getting in and out as well as for care of the person.
• The model ECOFIT PLUS normal version has a height adjustment range from 385 mm to 810 mm.
• The model ECOFIT PLUS LOW has a height adjustment range from 220 mm to 645 mm and is therefore ideal for fall prevention.
• The maximum allowable weight is 185 kg, while the safe working load is a maximum of 220 kg.
• The backrest is electrically adjustable and can be tilted up to an angle of 70°, while the thigh rest can be tilted up to 30° to allow the patient an individual comfort position.
• The assembly of the bed is tool-free and easy to perform. It is also easy to maintain and refurbish.
• The ECOFIT PLUS is particularly stable and the 115 mm high wooden side rails allow the use of mattresses up to 20 cm in height.
• The high-quality wooden cladding of the bed has guide rails for the side rail and the bed frame is painted steel in RAL 9023 (pearl dark gray).

Additional Features

• The care bed features a mechanically adjustable foot elevation, adjustable in 5 positions to increase patient comfort.
• The 4 x 100 mm castors are individually lockable to increase the mobility of the care bed.
• For patient safety, the care bed is equipped with a 24-volt power supply.
• In case of a power failure, the care bed can be emergency lowered using a 9-volt battery.
• The hand switch is equipped with first-fault safety and lock function to avoid misuse.
• A patient lifter is available for up to 80 kg to assist the patient in sitting up.
• The care bed has a protection class IPX 4 to ensure protection against the ingress of liquids.

Optional Equipment:

• The bed extension by 20 cm allows the bed to be adapted to individual needs.
• The Trendelenburg/Anti-Trendelenburg function allows an inclined lying surface for better blood circulation or breathing of the patient.
• The side rail padding increases comfort and prevents injuries from contact with the hard rails.
• There is a choice between wooden side rails with beech decor or aluminum.
• The side rails are equipped with a safety release to prevent accidental opening and ensure patient safety.
