The bed-in-bed system

The ECO BIB bed-in-bed system offers the comfort and functionality of a care bed while allowing you to continue using your familiar bed. It is ideal for people who do not want to give up their own bed.

Delivery time: to the curbside: approx. 12 working days

We can arrange a local moving company near your residence to transport the care bed from the curbside to your room, according to your wishes.

This solution is significantly more cost-effective than the standard delivery service to the apartment, which usually costs an additional €200 with many care bed providers.

The care bed weighs about 80 kg but can also be transported by one person if the package is opened and the parts are carried individually. As shown in the video below, the components are easy to transport and assemble.

Features:

• The BiB system can be used in any already existing bed frame.
• It features a 4-part steel slat lying surface with mattress guides at the head and foot sections.
• It is suitable for mattress sizes from 90 x 190 cm, 90 x 200 cm, 100 x 190 cm and 100 x 200 cm.
• The electric height adjustment ranges from 360 mm to 800 mm.
• The maximum permissible patient weight is 185 kg, the safe working load is 220 kg.
• The electrically adjustable backrest can be tilted up to an angle of 70°.
• The thigh rest can be tilted up to 30° to allow an individual comfort position for the patient.
• The BiB system is easy to clean and can be adapted to different bed sizes without accessories.
• All steel parts are painted in RAL 9023 (pearl dark gray).

Additional features

• The foot elevation can be mechanically adjusted in 5 different positions.
• The system stands on 4 feet, but alternatively, 4 casters with individual wheel locking can also be used.
• For safety, there is a 24-volt power supply.
• The hand switch has first-fault safety and a lock function.
• The system has protection class IPX 4.

OPTIONS:

• The patient lifter is suitable for patients up to 80 kg.
• There is an integrated reading light.
• An under-bed lighting is present and is activated by a motion sensor.
