The Saljol Carbon Rollator is a four-wheeled lightweight rollator with a foldable cross brace. The frame construction is primarily made of carbon and aluminum profile parts. Additional reinforcement elements in the mechanical construction also make it a robust carbon rollator with a high load capacity. The maximum user weight is 150kg!

The carbon rollator with soft wheels offers you additional safety in the style of the 1950s. The lightweight, weighing 5.6 kg including the bag, is easy to lift and is available in a seat height of 62 cm with a handle height of 81 to 103 cm or in a seat height of 54 cm with an adjustable handle height of 76 to 88 cm.

With one hand, the 22 cm wide Saljol carbon rollator can be folded lengthwise and then stored in a space-saving manner. The integrated tipping aids on both sides, located at the end of the frame at the height of the rear wheels, make it easy to overcome curbs. The particularly shock- and vibration-absorbing wheels compensate well for uneven surfaces, such as cobblestones. Your wrists and shoulders will thank you.

The pronounced tread of the soft Super Soft All-Terrain tires ensures more grip on gravel or meadows, with which you drive your Saljol carbon rollator. Smooth in the center of the tread with plenty of braking power and profiled at the edges for more stability and side grip on soft surfaces. They are designed so that dirt does not get stuck and carried inside. They leave a good impression, as the tread contains the floral elements of the SALJOL logo. Because soft and non-slip tires, like your winter tires on the car, wear out more easily, changing the tires is very simple and can be completely safely solved with two screws.

Gear shifting: Safely going downhill

The carbon rollator comes standard with a gear shift with foot pedal. This means that you can adjust the rolling resistance individually via the push brake. To do this, you need to lightly press or push up on the red lever at the rear wheels with your foot, allowing you to turn the rolling resistance on or off. With the gear shift at the rear wheels, the walking speed can be reduced.

The simple operation is carried out via two red foot pedals, which are mounted on the right and left next to the rear wheel. Similar to a motor brake when going downhill and downshifting to the next smaller gear, the gear shift brakes your carbon rollator at the two rear wheels. It takes over part of the steering and helps you to drive safely downhill.

During the uphill drive, the driver is safely assisted by the low weight and the transmission. It supports the vehicle from rolling back like a hill start assist in modern cars.

Carbon rollators have a special tire that is very close to the comfort of air tires while still being puncture-proof. Here, the shocks are absorbed and not directly transferred to the hands. Are your handles at wrist height? Are the elbows slightly pulled back when pushing? When pushing and supporting, it is important that you keep the carbon walker as upright as possible when adjusting the height of the cork handles. Driving downhill

Imagine the following situation: You have a walking disability. You are going down a sloping ramp with a full shopping basket in your walker! At the top of the ramp, you pull the brake, but you have to keep releasing it... the walker pulls you downhill....

The Saljol gear shift helps to defuse the situation! Similar to an engine brake when driving downhill in a car and downshifting to the next lower gear, the gear shift brakes the carbon rollator at the two rear wheels. It essentially takes on part of the load of the rollator and helps you to drive safely downhill.

Driving uphill

When climbing uphill, the driver is optimally supported by the low weight of only 5.6 kg and the innovative drag brake. The drag brake ensures that the walker remains easily controllable at all times, even on steep inclines.

The so-called "gear shift" is not a classic gear shift like that of a bicycle, but a mechanism that regulates the friction brake. It allows for individual adjustment of the braking force, ensuring that the walker remains safe and stable. Similar to a hill start assist in modern cars, this function prevents the walker from slipping backward when stopping or moving forward slowly. This not only provides a high level of safety but also comfort and reliability for the user.

Overcoming curbs and thresholds

The distance the foot has to travel is minimal, making it safer than conventional rollators. Public transport

The use of rollators is allowed on public transport. However, the rollator may not be used as a seat on the bus. We recommend placing the carbon rollator in the bus on the multi-purpose area with the parking brake engaged and looking for a seat facing the opposite direction of travel.

Tip! With a folded size of only 22cm, it doesn't take up much space and can also be placed next to you.

By the way: The safest way to get out is backwards, with one hand on the bus and the other on the walker.

Parking and loading

Simply press down the two easy-to-use brake levers on the left and right of the handle. The walker stands securely in place.

For transport in the car, Saljol recommends folding the carbon fiber rollator to a width of 22 cm. This way, it fits even in the smallest trunk.

Travel

The small pack size of the Saljol Carbon Rollator invites you to travel. It is quickly set up and stored. When traveling by car, please ensure that the rollator is secured well and that no heavy objects are stacked on the carbon frame.

Tip! Inform the airline about bringing your walker. Most airlines will carry your walker for free.

What is the statutory warranty?

"If there is a defect in the purchased item, the provisions of statutory liability for defects apply. Please contact Gorilla Gesund immediately, and we will then take over communication with the manufacturer Saljol."

Visible defects must be reported in writing within ten days of delivery, and hidden defects must be reported in writing within ten days of their discovery. The aforementioned deadlines are exclusion periods.
