Because you always have the wheelchair package with you, even on the Rollator Walker, everywhere and anytime.

Rollz Motion Rollator Walker-Transport Wheelchair Accessories

For the Rollz Motion 2.1, we offer various accessories that further expand the functionalities of the Rollator Walker. Especially the 3in1 wheelchair cup holder brings enormous added value.

Why even use a Rollator Walker-Transport Wheelchair?

With just one 2in1 aid, you can solve many of your problems. With the Rollz Motion Rollator Walker-Transport Wheelchair, you can walk using the Rollator Walker. That means, if you notice that you are exhausted or simply cannot walk any further, the Rollator Walker is simply converted into a transport wheelchair. In a transport wheelchair, you can now sit comfortably and be pushed. This conversion can perfectly support you in many situations.

Maybe you know this,

  • You want to stay active, so you are not only dependent on a wheelchair.
  • You want to train your mobility and walking again. During walking training, you test your limits. That is why you need a Rollator Walker that gives you the security, when you are exhausted, that you can still get home without any problems.
  • You are worried that you cannot cover the entire distance with the Rollator Walker, or that you might not be able to return at all.
  • You want to be carefree again. Do what you feel like and don't let either a Rollator Walker or a wheelchair stop you.
  • You decide flexibly, anytime and anywhere, which aid fits your upcoming activity.
  • You love to travel, but on the plane or in the car there is only room for one of your aids.
  • You want to enjoy outings with your family or friends without worries. You can go to the zoo or museum with a Rollator Walker. But a longer trip exhausts you and you do not want to have to cancel it.
  • You want to be spontaneous again. How about a walk through the park right after shopping? Until now, you only dared to do this if you started the whole day with the wheelchair. With your normal Rollator Walker, you fear that you will be exhausted in the end and therefore do not dare to make spontaneous trips.
  • You may be able to walk short distances, e.g., due to muscle or gait weakness, but for longer distances a wheelchair is then required.
  • You suffer from a progressive neurological disease, such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease. Due to increasing walking weakness, you want to take preventive measures and only have one aid at home. In case of a deterioration in mobility, you already have the wheelchair at home. And for times when you have more strength to walk, the Rollz Motion supports you as a Rollator Walker.

Features of the Rollator Walker transport wheelchairs, Rollz Motion

Wheelchair package - The seat always with you

Whether as a Rollator Walker or as a transport wheelchair, with the Rollz Motion2.1 / Rollz Motion Performance you always have your seat for breaks with you. The Rollator Walker has a padded seat. You can rest on it during short breaks. For longer breaks, the Rollz Motion2.1 can be converted from a Rollator Walker to a transport wheelchair in a few minutes. No matter where you are, you always have all parts, i.e., backrest and footrests, for the conversion with you. In the following video, you can see the easy conversion.

The lightweight, stable, and agile Rollz Motion 2.1 / Performance Rollator Walker transport wheelchair

The Rollz Motion 2.1/Performance is lightweight yet stable due to its frame. Many other Rollator Walker wheelchairs are much heavier and rattle. The lower weight is especially important for transport. Whether you carry your Rollator Walker up the stairs or load it into a car or bus. The Rollz Motion 2.1/Performance is easy to transport and load.

The Rollz Motion wheelchairs have movable front wheels. This makes them agile and easy to maneuver. This achieves maximum maneuverability. Narrow paths or corners are no longer a problem. Even with limited hand mobility, you can easily and agilely manage any path with the Rollator Walker and the transport wheelchair.

Foldable

When you fold a Rollator Walker, it can be easily transported. Like the Saljol Carbon Rollator Walker, the Rollz Motion2.1 can also be folded lengthwise. The side parts of the Rollator Walker transport wheelchair slide together when you lift the seat part. This makes the Rollator Walker only 31 cm narrow for transport. With this width, it fits in almost any car. The Rollz Motion 2.1 can also be easily taken on buses and trains. If you are traveling by public transport, please do not sit on the Rollator Walker. Fold it up. Place it in a spot where it does not block anyone, and if possible, sit on a seat within reach of your Rollator Walker.

Drum brakes

The brakes of the Rollz Motion 2.1 are suitable for all weather conditions. Whether it rains or the sun shines, the brakes are always reliable and safe. The easily accessible brakes on the push handles respond quickly and provide active braking force. When going downhill, they can be lightly applied so that the Rollator Walker does not roll away too quickly ahead of you. To brake the Rollator Walker for parking, simply press the hand brakes down.

Tipping aid

The Rollz Motion 2.1 is equipped with a tipping aid. This helps to overcome curbs or small steps. The tipping aid is located on the rear wheels of the Rollator Walker wheelchair. Simply step lightly on it with your foot, and the front wheels of the Rollz Motion 2.1 lift up and it can be pushed onto the obstacle. Many other Rollator Walkers literally have to be lifted onto curbs. This requires a lot of muscle strength. However, this strength is much more urgently needed for many other activities. The saved energy can, for example, be used for an additional walk, so that the user feels fitter or less exhausted after the walk.

Definition: Rollator Walker transport wheelchair / 2in1 Rollator Walker

A Rollator Walker transport wheelchair (also called 2in1 Rollator Walker) is a Rollator Walker that can be converted into a transport wheelchair. It is important that the conversion is simple and possible without tools. Whether used as a Rollator Walker or as a transport wheelchair, the Rollator Walker transport wheelchair is always fully functional.

On the left side of the picture you see the Rollator Walker Motion 2.1 as a Rollator Walker. After minimal conversion time, it becomes a transport wheelchair on the right side. With a little practice, you can convert the Rollator Walker into a wheelchair in less than 5 minutes and back again!

From Rollator Walker to transport wheelchair: It's that easy

Below we show you step by step how to convert the Rollator Walker Motion 2in1 from a Rollator Walker to a transport wheelchair and back again.

1. Hang in the seat and back unit

Take the seat and back unit by the designated handle and hold it so that the crossbar to which the red lever is attached faces forward. Unfold the red lever.

Hang the backrest into the designated brackets on the back of the Rollator Walker (the back is the side with the larger wheels). Fold the red lever back so that the device locks onto the Rollator Walker.

2. Unfold the back unit and hook it in.

Pull the back unit up by the handle. The unit unfolds and can be guided into the opening on the side of the Rollator Walker frame. The back unit locks in place and should no longer be able to be pushed forward.

3. Move the handles backward

Now loosen the screws on the Rollator Walker handles and turn the handles backward. Adjust the height of the handles to the height of the accompanying person and tighten the handles again.

4. Attach the footrests

The two footrests are located in the backrest pocket. Remove the footrests and simply attach them to the bracket above the front seat.

Congratulations! You have converted the Rollator Walker into a transport wheelchair in just 4 steps.

Rollator Walker Motion Performance

The Rollator Walker Motion Performance is not only a rollator walker wheelchair, it also belongs to the category of outdoor Rollator Walkers. It is equipped with pneumatic tires and shock-absorbing handles. This cushions unevenness when rolling over surfaces. The resulting shocks are not directly transferred to the arms and shoulders. This makes walking with the Rollator Walker comfortable and safe on any surface. For even more comfortable sitting in the wheelchair, the Rollator Walker Motion Performance features extra padded armrests and a wedge-shaped seat cushion. The wedge-shaped seat cushion of the rollator walker wheelchair prevents you from sliding forward when pushed over uneven surfaces.

Rollz Motion Performance

The Rollz Motion Performance is not only a Rollator Walker wheelchair, it also belongs to the category of outdoor Rollator Walkers. It features pneumatic tires and shock-absorbing handles. This cushions unevenness when rolling over surfaces. The resulting shocks are not directly transferred to the arms and shoulders. This makes walking with the Rollator Walker comfortable and safe on any surface. For even more comfortable sitting in the wheelchair, the Rollz Motion Performance has extra padded armrests and a wedge-shaped seat cushion. The wedge-shaped seat cushion of the Rollator Walker wheelchair prevents you from sliding forward when pushed over uneven surfaces.

Target group Rollator Walker transport wheelchair

Unlike the conventional Rollator Walker, which is mainly used for people with age-related mobility impairments, the Rollz Motion makes everyday life easier for people of all ages. It offers reliable assistance especially for people with degenerative diseases.

People with multiple sclerosis (MS)

In multiple sclerosis, the immune system attacks the body's own tissues and causes inflammation of the nerve fibers, which disrupts the transmission of nerve impulses and leads to various complaints throughout the body. The first symptoms usually manifest as sensory disturbances in the arms and legs.

The most common form of MS is relapsing MS, which occurs in episodes. For the patient, this means that symptoms appear during the episodes and are not permanent. Symptoms can worsen or new ones can appear. Therefore, many patients rely on additional support during episodes and use aids.

The Rollz Motion is the ideal companion for every stage of the disease, because if needed, you can convert the Rollator Walker into a transport wheelchair anytime and anywhere. For example, if you go on vacation, you do not have to choose between a Rollator Walker and a transport wheelchair. With one aid, you always have both with you and can thus enjoy longer excursions.

People with Parkinson's disease

Parkinson's disease is the most common neurological disorder in Germany. The slowly progressive disease causes nerve cells in the brain to die, leading to a deficiency of dopamine. The neurotransmitter dopamine is responsible in our body, among other things, for controlling movements. The progressive dopamine deficiency leads, among other things, to an increasingly pronounced lack of movement (akinesia).

Many people with Parkinson's disease can initially still walk very well with small steps on the Rollator Walker. Over time, as more nerve cells die and thus an increased dopamine deficiency occurs, the lack of movement further increases. Due to this significant restriction of walking, a wheelchair eventually becomes unavoidable.

The Rollz Motion Rhythm, Parkinson Rollator Walker is well equipped for this progressive disease; it initially serves you as a Rollator Walker and for times when mobility restrictions increase, you can simply convert it into a transport wheelchair and do not have to rely on any other aid.

With the Rollz Motion Rhythm, you can optimally respond to any situation from the start and still allow yourself a few steps on the Rollator Walker. If you notice that you can no longer walk, you can simply convert the Rollator Walker into a transport wheelchair and continue to get through the day safely.

People with polyneuropathy

Polyneuropathy is a disease that causes nerve damage. Often, nerves responsible for movement in the arms and legs are damaged. Polyneuropathy is usually a consequence of diabetes mellitus.

In polyneuropathy, among other things, the motor nerves are damaged. The motor nerves are responsible for muscle contraction and thus for their movement. If these nerves are damaged by polyneuropathy, the muscles can no longer contract for movement, leading to loss of muscle strength and muscle cramps. With increasing damage, paralysis of entire muscles can also occur.

The Rollz Motion 2.1 is best suited for this progressive nerve damage. If the damage is less severe, the Rollz Motion 2.1 can be used as a Rollator Walker and you can continue to move. If the damage affects more muscles over time and paralysis occurs or you experience muscle cramps in your legs while walking, you can easily convert the Rollator Walker into a wheelchair. This way, you have the right aid for every situation and can rely on being able to walk again, as resting and sitting down is always possible.

People with hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy (HMSN/CMT) or neural muscle atrophy

In people with neural muscle atrophy, there is a slow and progressive breakdown of the peripheral nerves. (Peripheral nerves are nerves that are not located in the brain or spinal cord but run throughout the body). Many affected individuals have a genetic defect. In most cases, motor nerve fibers responsible for controlling movements are affected.

Initially, the damage to the motor nerve fibers leads to muscle wasting and associated muscle weakness in the feet. The damage increases over time and can later also affect the muscles.

Initially, many patients are able to walk with the help of a Rollator Walker. However, as the disease causes further damage to the motor nerve fibers, a wheelchair is needed due to progressive muscle weakness.

So that you can continue to take a few steps, it is beneficial if you can always rely on your aid. The Rollz Motion 2.1 offers you safe support anytime and anywhere. Whether as a Rollator Walker or as a transport wheelchair, with a Rollz Motion 2.1 you always have both aids with you.
