Why take a rollator transport wheelchair at all?
"With just one 2-in-1 aid, you can solve many of your problems. With the Rollz Motion rollator-transport wheelchair, you can walk with the rollator. This means that when you realize you are exhausted or simply cannot walk any further, the rollator can be easily converted into a transport wheelchair. In a transport wheelchair, you can now comfortably sit down and be pushed. This conversion can perfectly support you in many situations."
"Maybe you know that,"
- You want to stay active, so not just rely on a wheelchair.
- You want to train your mobility and walking again. During walking training, you test your limits. That’s why you need a walker that gives you the assurance that you can still get home easily when you are exhausted.
- You are worried that you won't be able to cover the entire distance with the walker, or that you might not be able to return at all.
- You want to be carefree again. Do what you feel like and don't let a walker or wheelchair hold you back.
- You decide flexibly, anytime and anywhere, which tool is suitable for your upcoming activity.
- They love to travel, but there is only room for one of your aids on the plane or in the car.
- You want to enjoy outings with your family or friends without worry. You can go to the zoo or the museum with a walker. But a longer outing tires you out, and you don't want to have to cut it short.
- You want to be spontaneous again. How about a walk through the park right after your shopping trip? So far, you've only dared to do this when you've started the whole day with the wheelchair. With your regular walker, you're afraid that you'll be exhausted by the end and therefore don't dare to make spontaneous outings.
- You may be able to walk short distances, e.g. due to muscle weakness or gait issues, but a wheelchair is required for longer distances.
- You suffer from a progressive neurological disease, such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease. Due to increasing walking difficulties, you want to take preventive measures and only have one aid at home. In case of a deterioration in mobility, you already have the wheelchair at home. And for times when you have more strength to walk, the Rollz Motion supports you as a walker.

Features of the Rollator Transport Wheelchairs, Rollz Motion
Wheelchair package - The seat always included
Whether as a rollator or as a transport wheelchair, with the Rollz Motion2.1 / Rollz Motion Performance you always have your seat for breaks with you. The rollator has a padded seat. You can rest on it during short breaks. For longer breaks, the Rollz Motion2.1 can be converted from a rollator to a transport wheelchair in just a few minutes. No matter where you are, you always have all the parts, i.e. backrest and footrests, for the conversion with you. In the following video, you can see the simple conversion.
The lightweight, stable, and maneuverable Rollz Motion 2.1 / Performance Rollator-Transport Wheelchair
The Rollz Motion 2.1/Performance is lightweight yet stable due to its frame. Many other rollator wheelchairs are much heavier and rattle. The lower weight is especially important for transport. Whether you need to carry your rollator up the stairs or load it into a car or bus. The Rollz Motion 2.1/Performance can be transported and loaded with ease.
The Rollz Motion wheelchairs have movable front wheels. This makes them agile and easy to maneuver. As a result, they achieve maximum maneuverability. Tight paths or curves are no longer a problem. Even with a mobility limitation in the hands, you can navigate any path easily and nimbly with the walker and the transport wheelchair.
Foldable
When you fold a rollator, it can be easily transported. Like the Saljol Carbon Rollator, the Rollz Motion2.1 can also be folded in the longitudinal direction. The side parts of the rollator transport wheelchair slide together when you lift the seat part. This makes the rollator only 31 cm wide for transport. With this width, it fits in almost any car. The Rollz Motion 2.1 can also be easily taken on buses and trains. When using public transport, please do not sit on the rollator. Fold it up. Place it in a location where it is not in anyone's way, and if possible, sit in a seat within reach of your rollator.
The drum brake
The brakes of the Rollz Motion 2.1 are suitable for all weather conditions. Whether it rains or the sun shines, the brakes are always reliable and safe. The easily accessible brakes on the push handles respond quickly and provide active braking power. When going downhill, they can be easily tightened to prevent the rollator from rolling too fast ahead of you. To brake the rollator for parking, simply press the hand brakes down.
Tilt aid
The Rollz Motion 2.1 is equipped with a tipping aid. This helps to overcome curbs or small steps. The tipping aid is located at the rear wheels of the rollator wheelchair. Simply step lightly on it with your foot, and the front wheels of the Rollz Motion 2.1 will lift, allowing it to be pushed over the obstacle. Many other rollators have to be literally lifted onto curbs. This requires a lot of muscle power. However, this power is much more urgently needed for many other activities. The saved energy can be used, for example, for an additional walk, so that the user feels fitter or less exhausted after the walk.
Definition: Rollator-Transport wheelchair / 2in1 Rollator
A rollator transport wheelchair (also called a 2-in-1 rollator) is a rollator that can be converted into a transport wheelchair. It is important that the conversion is simple and tool-free. Whether used as a rollator or as a transport wheelchair, the rollator transport wheelchair is always fully functional.
On the left side of the image, you can see the Rollz Motion 2.1 as a walker. After minimal conversion time, it becomes a transport wheelchair on the right side. With a little practice, you can convert the walker into a wheelchair and back in less than 5 minutes!
From walker to transport wheelchair: It's that easy
In the following, we will show you step by step how to convert the Rollz Motion 2in1 rollator from a rollator to a transport wheelchair and back again.
1. Hang in seat and back unit
"Take the seat and back unit by the designated handle and hold it so that the crossbar, to which the red lever is attached, is facing forward. Fold out the red lever."
Hang the backrest in the designated holders on the back of the walker (the back is the side with the larger wheels). Flip the red lever back so that the device locks into the walker.
2. Fold out the back unit and hook it in.
Pull the back unit upwards by the handle. The unit will unfold and can be guided into the opening on the side of the walker frame. The back unit will click into place and should not be able to be pushed forward anymore.
3. Move the handles back
Now loosen the screws on the walker handles and turn the handles backward. Adjust the height of the handles to the height of the accompanying person and tighten the handles again.
4. Attach the footrests
The two footrests are located in the pocket of the backrest. Remove the footrests and simply attach them to the bracket above the front seat.
Congratulations! You have converted the walker into a transport wheelchair in just 4 steps.
Rollz Motion Performance
The Rollz Motion Performance is not just a rollator wheelchair; it also belongs to the category of outdoor rollators. It is equipped with air tires and shock-absorbing handles. This cushions bumps when traversing uneven surfaces. The resulting shocks are not directly transmitted to the arms and shoulders. This makes walking with the rollator comfortable and safe on any surface. For even more comfortable sitting in the wheelchair, the Rollz Motion Performance features extra-padded armrests and a wedge-shaped seat cushion. The wedge-shaped seat cushion of the rollator wheelchair prevents you from sliding forward when being pushed over uneven surfaces.

Which rollator wheelchair is right for you?
What size is right for me?
The Rollz Motion 2.1 is available in 2 variants, the Rollz Motion 2.1 and the small Rollz Motion 2.1. The small Rollz Motion 2.1 is suitable for a height between 1.50m and 1.85m. The Rollz Motion² is suitable for a height between 1.60m and 1.90m.

Rollz Motion Performance
The Rollz Motion Performance is not just a rollator wheelchair; it also belongs to the category of outdoor rollators. It features air tires and shock-absorbing handles. This cushions bumps when traversing uneven surfaces. The resulting shocks are not directly transmitted to the arms and shoulders. This makes walking with the rollator comfortable and safe on any surface. The wedge-shaped seat cushion of the rollator wheelchair prevents you from sliding forward when being pushed over uneven surfaces.
Target group rollator-transport wheelchair
In contrast to the conventional walker, which is primarily used for people with age-related mobility impairments, the Rollz Motion makes everyday life easier for people of all ages. It provides reliable assistance, especially for people with degenerative diseases.
People with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
In multiple sclerosis, the immune system attacks the body itself and causes inflammation of the nerve fibers, disrupting the transmission of nerve impulses and leading to various complaints throughout the body. The first symptoms usually manifest as sensory disturbances in the arms and legs.
The most common form of MS is relapsing MS, which occurs in episodes. For the patient, this means that the symptoms occur during the episodes and are not permanent. The symptoms can worsen or new ones may arise. Therefore, many patients rely on additional support during the episodes and turn to assistive devices.
The Rollz Motion is the ideal companion for every stage of the illness, as you can transform the walker into a transport wheelchair anytime and anywhere if needed. For example, when you go on vacation, you don't have to choose between a walker and a transport wheelchair. With one aid, you always have both with you and can enjoy longer outings.
People with Parkinson's disease
Parkinson's disease is the most common neurological disorder in Germany. The slowly progressing disease causes nerve cells in the brain to die, leading to a deficiency of dopamine. The messenger substance dopamine is responsible in our body, among other things, for the control of movements. The progressive dopamine deficiency leads, among other things, to an increasingly pronounced lack of movement (akinesia).
Many people with M. Parkinson can initially walk very well with small steps on a walker. Over time, as more nerve cells die and a greater dopamine deficiency occurs, the lack of movement continues to increase. Due to this significant limitation in walking, a wheelchair eventually becomes unavoidable.
The Rollz Motion Rhythm, Parkinson Rollator is well-equipped for this progressive disease; it initially serves as a walker, and during times when mobility restrictions increase, you can easily convert it into a transport wheelchair without having to rely on any other aid.
With the Rollz Motion Rhythm, you can optimally respond to any situation from the very beginning and allow yourself a few more steps with the walker. If you realize that you can no longer walk, you can easily convert the walker into a transport wheelchair and continue to navigate your day safely.
People with polyneuropathy
Polyneuropathy is a disease that causes nerve damage. Often, nerves that are responsible for movement in the arms and legs are damaged. Polyneuropathy is usually a consequence of diabetes mellitus.
In polyneuropathy, among other things, the motor nerves are damaged. The motor nerves are responsible for the contraction of the muscles and thus for their movement. When these nerves are damaged by polyneuropathy, the muscles can no longer contract for movement, leading to a loss of muscle strength and muscle cramps. With increasing damage, it can also lead to paralysis of entire muscles.
The Rollz Motion 2.1 is best suited for this progressive nerve damage. If the damage is less severe, the Rollz Motion 2.1 can be used as a walker, allowing you to continue moving. If the damage over time affects more muscles and leads to paralysis or if you experience muscle cramps in your legs while walking, you can easily convert the walker into a wheelchair. This way, you have the right aid for every situation and can rely on being able to walk again, as resting and sitting down is always possible.
People with hereditary motor-sensory neuropathy (HMSN/CMT) or neural muscular atrophy
In people with neural muscular atrophy, there is a slow and progressive degeneration of the peripheral nerves. (Peripheral nerves are nerves that are not located in the brain or spinal cord but run throughout the body). In many affected individuals, there is a genetic defect. In most cases, motor nerve fibers are affected, which are responsible for the control of movements.
Initially, the damage to the motor nerve fibers leads to muscle wasting and associated muscle weakness in the feet. The damage increases over time and can later also affect the muscles.
Initially, many patients are able to walk with the help of a walker. However, as the disease causes further damage to the motor nerve fibers, a wheelchair is needed due to the progressive muscle weakness.
"So that you can continue to take a few steps, it is beneficial if you can rely on your aid at any time. The Rollz Motion 2.1 provides you with safe support, anytime and anywhere. Whether as a walker or as a transport wheelchair, with a Rollz Motion 2.1 you always have both aids with you."
